The Need for Standards
Working Group Reports & Recommendations
In the workshop held in Santa Barbara, California, between June 21 and June 24, 2001, three working groups were formed, one on Metadata, one on Language Codes, and one on Language Markup. These groups were asked to make recommendations in these three areas, that the OLAC and E-MELD projects could follow. These are the recommendations:
